While having lunch at a tavern, an elderly woman caught my attention. Her expression reminded me of my father, with whom I had a 65 year age gap. This is why I have deep respect and attentiveness for elderly people. I was drawn to her calmness which inspired me to create an artwork. The present juxtaposes the past with her youthful hands sprouting memories in the middle space. Figurative painting contrasts with abstract shapes. This picture pays hommage to the elderly.
