I am fascinated by the crown braid hairstyles for their elegance and intricate sculptural volume. At the same time, I am interested in painting enigmatic backview female portraits because it is a seldom found theme in portraiture due to their concealed identity. My painting focuses on the back of a woman's head contemplating a silhouette of a mountain under the sky, a scene that soothes the mind. A valuable emotion cherished during hiking.
