I painted an ode to the ancient occupation of a sheepherder. I chose objects from the life of a shepherd like the handmade leather shoe tsarouchi, the sheep’s bell and the trumpet made of bone. The relief background refers to the water with the tsarouchi to be floating like a boat carrying a human silhouette, the spirit of the sheepherder. It is a work nostalgic to the occupation that may slowly be disappearing.
