This painting is a token of gratitude towards the humanitarian aid of the Israeli Navy that arrived in Kefalonia on August 12th 1953, the day of the devastating earthquake of 7,2 on the Richter scale destroying Kefalonia, Ithaci and Zakynthos. I have written Thank you in Hebrew on behalf of the people of Kefalonia island.
